Welcome to the exciting world of custom minting. There are many options available to you as we customize your celebration. Custom minting is a flexible, high profile promotional method used by corporations, organizations and a variety of other special events.

The process involves choosing or creating artwork for the front (obverse) and the back (reverse). A die is then produced that will be used to mint your coins. Your completed die is capable of striking coins from a variety of precious metals. Choosing to limit the number of coins, makes it a limited edition collection and your medallions can be consecutively numbered on the edge. Your coin can be tastefully displayed by itself or used in jewelry, raffles, awards or in conjunction with any other item. One of our precious metals specialists will work closely with you throughout this process to ensure a beautiful documentation of your occasion.




ARTWORK
Please provide your design in black and white camera ready art in a 6.5 diameter inch circle for two dimensional dies.
 

For three dimensional designs please submit the design in bas relief sculpture, on an 8 inch diameter circle.

 
Artwork that is very detailed will produce a medallion that is very detailed.
We can refine your existing artwork or design new artwork
with a minimum art charge of $50ºº per hour ( minimum of hour)

DIE COST (per side)
Price Range is determined by:
the amount of detail in the artwork,
and the volume of coins in the run.
From Two dimensional Dies $250+
From Three dimensional Dies $350+

 

TIME FRAME
After camera ready art is in hand, the estimated time for die(s) completion is a s follows:
Two dimensional dies require 3-4 weeks: Three dimensional dies require 4-5 weeks.

GOLD MEDALLIONS
Gold medallions are double Struck in .9999 fine gold.
They are available in various sizes:
1/20, 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 1.25, 1.5 and 2 ounces.

Silver medallions are double struck for proof and
single struck for brilliant uncirculated quality in .999 fine silver.
They are available in various sizes: 1/20, 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 ounces.

GOLDENHANCE
Goldenhance is a 24 karat gold overlay that can enhance the detail of a coin in selected areas.
Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks, depending on quantity.

EPOXY PROTECTION
Epoxy is a clear coating that protects the surface of the coin when put into jewelry.

PAYMENT TERMS
Payment for the Die(s) and 50% of total order is due when the order is placed.
The balance is due prior to shipment.
